Quality Control/Post Closing Audit Review Specialist

Primary Activities And Responsibilities
- Responsible for auditing all loan products after booking and completes checklists
- Responsible for calling loan processors, loan originators and CCU for missing documentation or errors
- Records errors on Quality Control Auditor Exception Report
- Prepares and sends TENA files for audit
- Document and define corrections on closing documents
- Enters tracking items into Sageworks for all loan types
- Responsible for new note audit and critical items report for all loan types
- Prepares and sends files to all third party applicable audits
- Review accuracy of HMDA submission for applicable loan products
- Reports policy exceptions on a quarterly basis for Consumer/Residential Mortgage
- Reports Reg B to Compliance Officer
- Track loan policy exceptions
- Review denied, canceled and withdrawn mortgage, home equity and HELOC loans and complete checklists
- Review mortgage files for TRID compliance
- Verifies HMDA entry and worksheet data for commercial loans as a second review
- Knows where the CRA notice, statement and public disclosure file is located in the branch and who the CRA Officer is
- Understands and complies with Bank mission, organizational structure, employee handbook, bank security, policies and procedures, standards of conduct and incentive program
- Other duties as needed or assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years banking experience at FNBT or equivalent financial institution
- Data entry and basic computer skills a must, including ability to use standard software packages
- Experience and understanding of HMDA reporting preferred
- Experience with Mortgagebot LOS, Sageworks and Questsoft preferred
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information
- Strong math aptitude
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willing and able to cross train others in areas of expertise or specialization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including usage of phone, email and other means of correspondence
- Interacts with others in a professional and tactful manner, successfully building relationships with suppliers, customers and co-workers
- Must be self-motivated and a team player
- Maintains acceptable attendance record
- Expected to participate in appropriate training classes and other seminars as management requires
