- Assists BSA Officer with ensuring bank wide compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act Program
- Ensure all SARs & SAR Renewals are accurately identified, documented and filed timely
- Quarterly SAR memo to Audit & Risk Committee
- Back up to both BSA Officer and BSA Compliance Specialist
- Review CTRs for accuracy & completion
- Review account activity on law enforcement requests (subpoenas, garnishments, tax levies)
- Helps with OCC exams, outside audits and model validation audits
- Review & Processing of CTR Exemptions
- Monthly reviews/risk assessments on High Risk List, Watch List & NBFI List
- Various internal controls involving transactions, accounts, processes, etc.
- Review manual processes completed by BSA Specialist for accuracy & completeness
- Assists BSA Officer in reviewing various reports/scenarios & alerts for suspicious activity
- Assists BSA Officer in completing other internal controls
- Any other duties as assigned by the BSA Officer
- Job duties may evolve over time to meet company objectives.
- 2 years Bank Operations or Audit Experience
- Advanced knowledge of BSA regulations
- Knowledge of bank services and products
- Ability to identify suspicious activity
- Ability to analyze customer activity
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- High ability to learn specialized BSA software
- Proficiency with Word & Excel
- Ability to work well independently and with others
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Able to adapt to changing regulations
- Self-starter
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance
Salary : $48,000 - $60,000
