Are you someone who can:
- Develop and implement trade finance and working capital solutions for clients across the organization, leverage a deep understanding of trade finance and working capital products, market trends and regulatory requirements to support client's financial needs and enhance their working capital efficiency.
- Conduct thoroughly assessments of client's trade finance and working capital requirements to tailor solutions that meets their specific financial objectives and operational needs.
- Originate trade finance and working capital deals by engaging with the organization’s Client Segment to align the deals to the clients’ requirements.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes to provide clients with up-to-date advice and innovative financial solutions.
- Collaborate with product development teams to enhance existing trade finance and working capital products and develop new offerings that address emerging client needs and market opportunities.
- Drive the execution of trade finance and working capital transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and managing any issues that arise during the process
- Identify and assess risks associated with trade finance and working capital transactions and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies to protect the bank and its clients.
- Manage and drive all processes related to the closure of deals and transactions, including but not limited to providing input into legal documents, finalizing legals and obtaining signoffs, and ensuring all deal documentation is in order.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their business models and financial strategies to provide proactive and value-added services
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
- Are a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting
- A holder of CA or CFA is an added advantage
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar environment, of which 1 - 2 years ideally at junior (entry level) management level, specifically within financial services, focused on delivering results and meeting/exceeding sales targets
- Have proven experience in trade finance and working capital solutions
- Have proficiency in financial modelling, risk assessment, and trade finance and working capital products
- Have in-depth understanding of trade finance, working capital management, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Have proven experience in trade finance, working capital, corporate banking, or a related field, with a proven track record of structuring and executing trade finance and working capital solutions.
- Have Treasury/cash management knowledge
- Have Portfolio management and the sales lifecycle
- Have Transactional Banking product knowledge
- Have the ability to exceed product or sales execution (Proven track record)
- Have the ability to engage and persuade senior internal and external stakeholders
