JOB SUMMARY: Assist clients on a daily basis. Services include opening new accounts, account changes, promotion and cross-selling of bank products and services.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include but are not limited to:
- Interviews customers to obtain information and explain available financial products including Checking (DDA) and Savings (SAV) accounts, Safe Deposit Boxes, Time Deposits (CDs), Retirement accounts (IRAs).
- Implement and provide support for available services including Online Banking, Debit Card, Merchant Visa/MasterCard services and Visa Gift card.
- Process Stop Payments, Error Resolutions under Regulation E, customer address changes.
- Compile outgoing wire transfer instructions and process transactions to affected accounts.
- Reconcile Safe Deposit applications (Main Bank)
- Maintain Safe Deposit vault area and records, if applicable.
- Taking customer telephone calls
- Addressing customer’s inquiries and directing customer to appropriate Bank personnel.
- Knowledgeable in all applicable regulations
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
- High School Diploma
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Strong proficiency in PC skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Good interpersonal skills; able to work well with a wide range of people
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good analytical skills
- Demonstrate resourcefulness and ability to take initiative in development and completion of projects
- Strong sense of customer service
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:
- Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing and visual acuity.
- Frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds of paper, equipment, and Safe Deposit boxes.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Normal office environment
