Quality Control Associates will review deposit and/or loan documentation to ensure correctness and compliance with a variety of standards. QC Associates will review documents and provide feedback to team members to ensure the Bank follows a variety of regulations and bank standards. Examples of items reviewed are below. Actual items reviewed vary per Associate.
Duties:
Deposit QC
- Documents to be reviewed:
- Personal Signature Cards
- Business Signature Cards
- Business Resolutions
- Beneficial Ownership Certifications
- Safe Deposit Box Documents
- Name Change Requests
- Internal AFT and EFT forms
- Overdraft Savings Transfer forms
- Electronic Services Applications
- Regulation CC Hold forms
- PATRIOT Act forms
- Dormancy Release forms
- Electronic Services and Debit Card Applications
- Fraud Detection Monitoring
- Synapsys Event Reviews
Loan QC
- Pre-Closing Review
- 100% of Mortgage & HELOC loans reviewed pre-closing.
- Post-Closing Review
- 100% review of all loan types core system set-up (consumer, commercial, HELOC & mortgage)
- 30% in-depth review of all loan documents
- Change in Term Review
- Loan AFT Set-Up Review
Tracking, Accountability and Training
- The QC team tracks various errors to report back to branches/departments.
- They work with branches/departments to ensure errors are corrected.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Knowledge of banking financial systems, Microsoft Office suite, internet/intranet sites and software
- Experience in other areas of financial services helpful.
- Must have strong customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Proven problem solving ability
- Must be able to work with little or no direct supervision.
- Proven ability in personal time management is important.
- Must have good organizational skills.
