The Digital Specialist works under the direct supervision of the Art Director and supports the plans of First New York Federal Credit Union to insure effective implementation of approved branded programs. The Digital Specialist is responsible for the creation and changes of the First New York website and ancillary links associated with the website and social media.

The Digital Specialist works under the direct supervision of the Art Director and supports the plans of First New York Federal Credit Union to insure effective implementation of approved branded programs. The Digital Specialist is responsible for the creation and changes of the First New York website and ancillary links associated with the website and social media.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Key graphic designer for all promotional materials for First New York.
- Responsible for layout and design of all advertisements including but not limited to print, digital media, outdoor and website internal and external.
- Responsible for designing and maintaining a collection of ads for community events to ensure consistency and timely placement of all advertisements.
- Responsible for providing publishable files to the Art Director for e-blasts of credit union newsletters and promotional materials.
- Monitors and updates the credit union’s web site, content as necessary.
- In conjunction with the Art Director, develop and design the annual report for the credit union’s annual dinner meeting. Assist the Art Director in organization of Annual Meeting and materials.
- Responsible for maintaining branch marketing materials and promotional timelines.
- Responsible for developing and designing of materials for SEG/partner groups as assigned by the Art Director
- Responsible for creating/modifying all forms and documents as assigned by the Art Director.
- Play a key role in engaging our internal teams, member base, stakeholders and DMA through social media, digital channels, events, programs, email and SMS marketing and other means.
- Assist with organic search engine optimization efforts and paid digital marketing and advertising efforts.
- Assist with content updates to internet and intranet websites to facilitate internal and external communications.
- Pull analytics and information for web and social media platform traffic for communications and reporting.
- Experience working successfully with teams and individuals across different departments and disciplines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Art Director.
- BA Degree in Graphic Design preferred or 2 years of related work experience.
- Portfolio of past work for review in interview
- Strong computer skills - PC capabilities and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and database
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with social media management and growth is required.
- Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms is required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
