The Marketing Coordinator works under the direct supervision of the Art Director and supports the plans of First New York Federal Credit Union to ensure effective implementation of approved programs.

The Marketing Coordinator works under the direct supervision of the Art Director and supports the plans of First New York Federal Credit Union to ensure effective implementation of approved programs.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operations of the marketing department and assist Art Director in execution of their duties.
- Assist the Membership Development Officer in the administration of the School Banking Program.
- Coordinate and conduct weekly tasks, including reporting, member communications and courier runs to branches.
- Assist with content updates to internet and intranet websites to facilitate internal and external communications.
- Conduct monthly marketing e-mails to members including but not limited to: new members, birthday wishes, membership onboarding, auto loan retention and inactive membership holders.
- Act as a liaison for marketing between vendors, and other departments.
- Maintain inventory of promotional items, department supplies, and printed materials.
- Monitor and register credit union employees for outreach and Chamber of Commerce events. Report on activities to the Membership Development Officer on a monthly basis.
- Create and maintain monthly reports as assigned. Minimally: Closed account reports, inventory for First New York apparel, marketing items and school items, competitor specials, CD specials.
- Represent First New York through coordination of credit union and community events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with area chamber organizations to ensure advertising and public relations opportunities are considered by the Vice President of Marketing.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Membership Development Officer or Vice President of Marketing.
- Associates degree in marketing, public relations or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong computer skills required - Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge required. Customer Relationship Management and email marketing experience helpful.
- Proficient written and oral communication skills.
- Creativity a must and design skills helpful.
