Job Opportunity: Cleaning Crew Member - Daycare Facility

Position: Cleaning Crew Member

Schedule:

• Days: Twice a week (Wednesday and Friday)

• Shift Start Time: 6:00 PM

Pay: $18/hour

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our cleaning team at a daycare facility in O’Fallon, Missouri. The role requires a professional who understands the importance of maintaining a spotless, safe, and hygienic environment for children and staff.

• Deep Cleaning: Perform a thorough cleaning of all areas, including classrooms, playrooms, restrooms, kitchen, and common areas to ensure a pristine and welcoming environment.

• Surface Sanitization: Clean and disinfect tables, countertops, shelves, cubbies, doorknobs, light switches, and other high-touch surfaces to reduce the spread of germs.

• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot-clean floors in all areas, ensuring no debris or stains remain.

• Restroom Maintenance: Scrub and disinfect toilets, sinks, and mirrors; restock supplies like paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.

• Trash Management: Empty all trash bins, including diaper bins, and ensure proper disposal of waste according to health and safety guidelines.

• Kitchen and Break Room Cleaning: Clean and sanitize countertops, sinks, appliances, and floors in the kitchen and staff break areas.

• Inspection and Quality Check: Before leaving, perform a walkthrough to ensure all areas meet the high cleanliness standards expected in a daycare setting.

Requirements:

• Experience: Prior professional cleaning experience is required, preferably in a daycare, school, or similar childcare environment where maintaining a spotless space is critical.

• Reliability: Dependability is a must. Timely arrival and consistent performance are essential for this role.

• Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the daycare facility.

• Background Check: A clear background check is required for employment to ensure the safety and security of the children and staff.

• Attention to Detail: Must be meticulous and thorough, with the ability to follow specific cleaning protocols and checklists.

• Physical Stamina: This position requires standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift.
