Position Overview :
The IT Support Technician helps oversee the Bank's technology resources and the strategic use of technology solutions for operational efficiency and competitive advantage. This includes ensuring the Bank's information technology activities are secure and stable, monitoring resources, and recommending upgrades and / or replacements as required to maximize return on investment and ensure capacity for Bank activities.
This position will be based in our Columbia or Camden SC Offices. Remote applicants will not be considered.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to :
- Helping ensure the security and stability of the Bank's information technology resources
- Analyzing and approving the installation of hardware and software updates and other patches
- Overseeing coordination of technical support for acquisitions, partnerships, or new facilities
- Maintaining advanced knowledge and awareness of financial industry technical status and trends
- Coordinating resources to provide critical system support, minimizing downtime and impact to clients
- Monitoring security and performance of Bank software, hardware, network, and cloud systems.
