Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site coordination of subcontractors to ensure high-quality work that meets project schedules and budgets.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of project documents to proactively address challenges.
• Lead job site safety initiatives, fostering a culture where safety comes first.
• Develop and update project schedules, including contingency planning as needed.
• Conduct inspections to ensure work aligns with First Peak’s quality standards.
• Manage jobsite logistics, including material coordination and crew scheduling.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and project managers to address issues and provide updates.
• Document daily progress, RFIs, and change orders.
• Mentor and support junior team members to help them grow their skills.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably on commercial or institutional projects valued at $5M-$30M.
• OSHA 30-hour certified; First Aid, CPR, and AED training preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction safety processes and ability to enforce safety plans.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Familiarity with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communicator who thrives in a team-oriented environment.
