First Physicians Group of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is looking to employ a BE / BC General Urology Hospitalist providing inpatient support to complement our employed Urology Practice.

The group currently consists of two Endourology fellowship trained Urologists with a focus on Urologic, Laparoscopy, and Robotic Surgery as well as a general Urologist, five Advanced Practice Providers along with a dedicated team of clinical and support staff.
Position Highlights :
- 7 on / 7 off providing 24hr coverage.
- Provide day post-op clinic once / week.
- Advanced Practice Provider support from 7 AM - 5 PM, 7-days / week.
- APP 1
call Friday - Sunday.
Coverage at one hospital.Responsible for ER call coverage, consults & rounding, and emergency surgeries.Consult volumes average 10-15 / day with 2-3 procedures / day.Equitable holiday coverage.34 ORs featuring 3 Cysto rooms plus outpatient surgery centerState-of-the-Art Equipment; Stainless steel wall systemsSix daVinci robots - Xi technology with integrated tablesEmployed position with a stable practice that has a 26-year history in the communityBoard Certified preferred, but we will consider Board Eligible if within 3 years of completed training.Sarasota Memorial Hospital is the only hospital in Sarasota County providing Level II Trauma, Level III NICU, pediatric services and behavioral health for people of all ages.
