First Pres is looking for a Technical Director with strong experience in audio, video, and lighting (AVL) systems, particularly with livestream and broadcast production. This full-time role is ideal for a professional with 3-5 years of experience who can lead AVL operations, manage technical teams, and ensure high-quality worship experiences for in-person and online audiences.
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of three years’ experience in AVL systems.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in livestream and broadcast production.
- Experience in a non-profit setting highly desired.
Position Requirements:
- Provide primary leadership and guidance for audio/sound, lighting, video, technical and scrolling operations.
- Partner with First Pres Pastors and Worship staff to provide and implement a clear and compelling vision for inspiring, high-quality Worship.
- Maintain an on-call group of qualified contractors as needed.
- Oversee production of Worship services including monitoring sound, video and multi-media personnel ensuring a coordinated worship experience.
- Advise First Pres Pastors and Worship staff to the weekly schedule including timing of various segments of worship to enable accurate assessments of sermon lengths, faith sharing and video presentations.
