Preschool Director

Job Summary
The Preschool Director plays a crucial role in the management and leadership of our early childhood education program. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and implementing educational programs that promote the development of young learners. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and a passion for early childhood education.

Duties

• Lead and manage all aspects of preschool operations, including staff supervision, curriculum development, and compliance with state regulations.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance educational programs and improve overall quality of care.
• Oversee budgeting processes to ensure financial sustainability while maintaining high standards of education.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth among staff members.
• Educate parents and guardians about preschool policies, programs, and child development practices.
• Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to meet the needs of children and families.
• Maintain open communication with staff, parents, and community stakeholders to promote engagement and support for the preschool.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Proven leadership experience in an educational setting, preferably within early childhood education.
• Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management in an educational context.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and engage diverse audiences.
• Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children.
• Familiarity with state licensing requirements for preschools is a plus.

Pay: $46,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
