Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to implement effective behavioral strategies and support the overall development of each child.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and staff on behavioral strategies and techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for each child.
- Stay current with best practices in behavioral health and participate in ongoing professional development.
Experience
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis is required.
- Proven experience working with children, particularly those with special education needs or behavioral challenges.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Familiarity with data collection methods relevant to behavioral therapy.
- Previous experience in a clinical or educational setting focusing on behavioral health is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration with families and professionals.
