Job Summary
The Director of Cardiac Cath Lab is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the operations and management of the cardiac catheterization laboratory. Duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the cardiac cath lab, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with JCAHO standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage staffing levels, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of team members.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other departments to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
- Monitor quality assurance programs and implement improvements based on data analysis and feedback.
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and facilities to support safe patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in cardiac care technologies and practices to maintain high standards of service.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related healthcare field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in healthcare management, specifically within a cardiac or critical care setting.
- Strong understanding of JCAHO accreditation processes and healthcare regulations.
- 4 years work experience in a leadership/supervisory capacity
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff, patients, and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions that impact patient care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 per year
