First Resources Corp. is growing, and we are hiring for a Mental Health Coordinator to oversee programming in Burlington and Keosauqua.
This is a leadership position that will oversee mental health services including but not limited to Intensive Residential Services and Home-and Community Based Services. This position will work closely with the Mental Health Director on development, coordination, and oversight of all programs assigned.
Essential job functions include but not limited to:
· Provide compassionate leadership.
· Supervise employees, including frequent check-ins, coachings, and completing annual employee reviews.
· Ensure all codes of the State, contractual provisions with funding bodies, and the company's policies and procedures are followed.
· Ensure all aspects of HCBS services are provided in accordance with the client's plans.
· Onboard new employees and provide on-going training and support to all employees.
· Be a point of contact for stakeholders, families, clients, and other entities regarding service options and client care.
Qualifications:
· Must be 21 years of age, or older.
· Must meet at least one of the following: Two-year degree, four-year degree, or master's degree in human services, psychology, sociology, nursing, health care administration, public administration, or related field.
· Have at least one year of experience working in mental and/or behavioral health services.
· Experience in mental health service delivery is essential; specific to Home-and Community Based (HCBS) Programs.
· Supervisory experience preferred.
· Must have the ability to embrace rapid change, meet multiple demands concurrently and efficiently with little supervision.
· Computer literate with knowledge of databased programs and Microsoft Suite.
· Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds without restrictions.
· Must have a valid driver's license and personal auto insurance as required by the State of Iowa and be insurable under the company's insurance.
· Must have reliable transportation.
· Must have access to a telephone.
· Must be able to obtain CPR/First Aide Certification within the initial 30 days of employment, and actively maintain certification throughout employment.
· Must be able to complete required trainings within the designated timeframes.
