Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans to meet organizational goals.
- Create and manage production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Coordinate with other departments to align production activities with overall business objectives.
- Lead and supervise production teams, including production supervisors and operators.
- Set performance goals, provide guidance, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure products meet specifications
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address and resolve quality issues
- Drive continuous improvement in product quality and manufacturing processes
- Adhere to budgets given by operations manager
- Utilize resources and equipment effectively
- Optimize resource allocation to achieve production targets while controlling costs.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure the availability of raw materials and components
- Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and other efficiency-enhancing strategies
- Lead and support process improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols
- Investigate and address safety incidents promptly
