We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Production Coordinator to join our client’s team in the financial district of New York City. Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of activewear, loungewear, and sleepwear, with products sold through both online and brick-and-mortar retailers.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage overseas production processes for apparel to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with factories, maintaining clear and consistent communication.
- Approve UPCs and review inspection reports to uphold quality standards.
- Oversee Work in Progress (WIP) updates and track production milestones to ensure schedules are met.
- Monitor and resolve any issues related to item production and delivery.
- Work closely with internal teams to streamline processes and align production goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in apparel production, specifically with overseas factories.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple production timelines effectively.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to review and approve critical production documentation.
- Familiarity with tracking systems and inspection procedures in the apparel industry.
- Must be able to work in-office five days a week in New York City.
