Job Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree plus eight to ten years additional training or experience in trust, investment management, or financial planning. Certification as an investment professional such as CFTA, CFP, ChFC, CFA or comparable credentials is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Create tailored investment strategies and customized financial plans for clients while identifying objectives and constraints such as regulatory issues, liquidity needs, and tax implications.
- Direct and participate in personal trust and individual account investment activities.
- Educate clients on financial planning strategies and investment options.
- Monitor and review clients' financial situations regularly to ensure alignment with their goals.
