Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Evaluation: Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand the scope of work related to plumbing and mechanical systems.
2. Material Takeoffs: Conduct detailed material takeoffs to determine the quantity and type of materials required for plumbing and mechanical installations.
3. Cost Estimation: Utilize cost estimation (Trimble MEP) software, historical data, and industry knowledge to prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
4. Vendor Subcontractor Coordination: Obtain pricing and quotes from vendors and subcontractors for plumbing and mechanical components and services.
5. Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering alternatives while maintaining the project's quality and specifications.
6. Bid Preparation: Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and documents for submission to clients, ensuring all cost components are accurately represented.

· An understanding of plumbing and mechanical systems, codes, and standards.
· Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
· Effective communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
· Office-based work environment with occasional visits to construction sites and vendor locations
· Working hours are M-F 8am-5pm in person.
· May require occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
