What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Marketing Specialist position at FIRST SERVICE CREDIT UNION?
Role: Reporting to the A VP of Marketing Operations, the Digital Marketing Specialist contributes to the planning, design, and execution of all digital marketing strategies that support the objectives and goals set by Senior Management. This person will provide a positive, ongoing, intuitive experience that increases engagement, and strength of brand among financial service providers, resulting in lead conversions across all product lines. Multiple data and analytic platforms will guide efforts. Serves as a champion for First Service's workplace culture.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, and executes ongoing improvements to all digital channels (website, marketing automation, micro-sites, digital banking, etc.), using analytics and user testing to evaluate end-to-end member/prospect experiences across multiple channels and touchpoints.
- Plans and executes content marketing, SEM, marketing automation, email, and display advertising campaigns.
- Works with the Content Specialist to conduct routine website audits, comprehensive keyword and SEO research to improve organic, non-branded search traffic to key content pages. This includes internal page links, meta-data, alt and title tags, per-page keywords, and page descriptions.
- Measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams on various projects to optimize and align initiatives and third party integrations across various digital channels.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:
1. Meet or exceed the credit union's planned market share, assets, loans, and other product/service objectives as stated in the business plan.
2. Ensure all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings and adhere to brand standards. File and organize assignments, artwork and projects for easy reference.
3. Accomplish all assigned projects in accordance with applicable credit union policy and procedures as well as compliance with any state and federal rules and regulations keeping management informed of any problematic areas.
4. Stays current on emerging technology/trends in web-based communications as well as established system capabilities and proactively suggests changes to current delivery and tools; participates in efforts to improve the quality of website and other digital channels as required.
5. Reinforce company culture, providing, accurate service and support to all members and associates.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience - Three or more years with digital marketing experience in a professional setting.
Experience - Editing and managing a website created with a Content Management System (Kentico, Sitefinity, Sitecore, WordPress, etc.) Experience creating and sending emails via Marketing Automation System (Hubspot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Acoustic, Marketo, Sharpspring, Braze, etc.) Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts. Demonstrated expertise in managing and optimizing paid search campaigns. Proficiency in SEO tools and analytics platforms like Moz, SEMrush, or similar tools.Proficiency in data analysis to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns.
Education - A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field is required.
