Credit Analyst III

First State Community Bank is seeking a quick learning, detail oriented individual with a strong work ethic for a Credit Analyst III position.
As Credit Analyst III you will provide support to loan officers with responsibility for analyzing and monitoring the credit worthiness of the Bank's customers.
This position is preferred to be filled at the following branch locations: Columbia, Cape Girardeau, Farmington. Other locations may be discussed.
Responsibilities in Accordance with Our Corporate Values
Professionalism
- Performing and documenting credit underwriting for new and existing commercial loans while maintaining privacy and confidentiality
Accountability
- Performing economic and industry analyses, financial projections and risk assessments
Initiative
- Conducting extensive credit analyses on existing and prospective customers prior to management or lender making or recommending a credit decision
Adaptability
- Completing majority of watch list reviews, appraisal/evaluation reviews and other projects established by Credit Administration

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Finance or Accounting majors preferred
- Minimum 2 years credit analyst experience required
- Minimum 6 to 9 hours of accounting courses
- Advanced analytical skills
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of economics and finance
- Excellent technical reporting skills
- Leadership experience preferred
