Job Description
SUPERVISED BY: Manager of Admissions
SUPERVISES: N/A
SUMMARY: Responsible for reception, communication, coordination and administrative duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Acts as receptionist for the facility (answers phone and doors; directs clients, and guests appropriately).
  • Responsible for coordinating all tasks necessary to complete an admission.
  • Responsible for answering calls to the admission line
  • Responsible for calling intake clients in the REI Program.
  • Greet clients upon arrival for Open Access.
  • Responsible for coordinating information with the intake team for all incoming clients.
  • Responsible for maintaining client attendance spreadsheet, Overview of Admissions report, other reports as needed.
  • Responsible for attending scheduled individual supervision sessions with the Manager of Admissions.
  • Work to attain the goals as written in job performance evaluations
  • Abide by the standards as set forth in First Step Home’s Compliance Plan and Code of Conduct.
  • Responsible for following all safety rules and safe health practices of First Step Home, Inc.
  • Comply with all agency policies, procedures and directives of immediate supervisor, the President/CEO and the Board of Trustees of First Step Home, Inc.
  • Responsible for following the Core Values of First Step Home, Inc.
  • Other duties, as required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma/GED
  • Associate’s in communication or related degree, required
  • Experience in substance use recovery, preferred
  • Must obtain a CDCA within 90 days of employment
  • Strong Microsoft word/Excel computer skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
