Job Description
SUPERVISED BY: Manager of Admissions
SUPERVISES: N/A
SUMMARY: Responsible for reception, communication, coordination and administrative duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acts as receptionist for the facility (answers phone and doors; directs clients, and guests appropriately).
- Responsible for coordinating all tasks necessary to complete an admission.
- Responsible for answering calls to the admission line
- Responsible for calling intake clients in the REI Program.
- Greet clients upon arrival for Open Access.
- Responsible for coordinating information with the intake team for all incoming clients.
- Responsible for maintaining client attendance spreadsheet, Overview of Admissions report, other reports as needed.
- Responsible for attending scheduled individual supervision sessions with the Manager of Admissions.
- Work to attain the goals as written in job performance evaluations
- Abide by the standards as set forth in First Step Home’s Compliance Plan and Code of Conduct.
- Responsible for following all safety rules and safe health practices of First Step Home, Inc.
- Comply with all agency policies, procedures and directives of immediate supervisor, the President/CEO and the Board of Trustees of First Step Home, Inc.
- Responsible for following the Core Values of First Step Home, Inc.
- Other duties, as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma/GED
- Associate’s in communication or related degree, required
- Experience in substance use recovery, preferred
- Must obtain a CDCA within 90 days of employment
- Strong Microsoft word/Excel computer skills.
- Strong communication skills.
