Now Hiring: Full Charge Bookkeeper – Bilingual (Spanish & English)
We are seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in New Haven, CT. This is an on-site, full-time position (Monday to Friday)—remote work is not an option. We are not accepting applications from accounting firms or contractors.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax and financial regulations.
- Collaborate with management to improve financial processes and reporting.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) is required.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and full accounting cycle.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience in nonprofit or service-based industries is a plus.
