What are the responsibilities and job description for the SUD Counselor position at First Step Recovery?
First Step Recovery is currently seeking a licensed clinician to provide group therapy to clients with substance use disorders.

Qualifications include:
LCDCII (Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II) LCDCIII (Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor III) LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) LSW (Licensed Social Worker) or higher.
FSR is a STAR-LRP approved facility for student loan repayment.

Experience preferred in the following areas:
SUD diagnostic assessments & ASAM criteria.
Treatment planning, individual sessions, & group facilitation.
SUD and recovery education for clients & family.
Safe discharge planning utilizing community resources.
Documentation of services in the electronic medical chart.
