Job Summary
The Speech Therapist Assistant is responsible for following the direction of the supervising SLP who will complete evaluation, reevaluation, development and treatment of medically prescribed therapy services, in order to achieve maximum developmental potential, functional gains and independence. The SLPA therapist must be able to work well with the supervising Speech Therapist, as well as, in teams and make appropriate decisions based on each patient‘s functional needs. Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Maintain good client relations with facilities and their staff. This job requires that speech therapist provide services at a private schools.
This is a Full Time caseload . We have an influx of new clients and are looking for an additional therapist to join our team
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
- Appropriate FL licensure from the Florida Department of Health
- Monday to Friday availability
- Ability to treat speech, language and pragmatic disorders in children
- Positive attitude
- Willing to work collaboratively with other professionals.
- Develop strong relationships with families.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Great work ethic
- Experience working with children
- Team Player
