Operations Supervisor

Position: Operations Supervisor
As an Operations Supervisor, you'll oversee day-to-day field operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficiency. Your leadership will guide staff and maintain safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct field operations and manage staff to ensure high service levels.
- Communicate job requirements and responsibilities to drivers.
- Conduct daily evaluations and provide feedback to local management.
- Investigate incidents and assist drivers in preparing necessary reports.
- Address customer service issues professionally and effectively.
- Monitor driver safety, performance, and compliance with labor policies.
- Assist with driver recruitment and prepare operational reports.
- Conduct road checks, training, and routing as needed.
- Obtain and maintain a CDL to operate vehicles at the location.
Qualifications:
- Supervisory experience with a diverse workforce.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and Windows-based programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong math skills and previous transportation knowledge (preferred).
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional customer service, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
