Job Title: Mechanic

As a Mechanic at First Student, you will play an integral role in ensuring the safety of the children who count on us for a ride to and from school.
About the Role
- We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our shop serving Woodburn School District.
You will perform maintenance to ensure our fleet of newer vehicles is safe for road travel. Your diagnostic skills will be used to troubleshoot issues needing repair work. A typical day will include performing maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions, as well as completing work orders and assisting with mobile emergency services.

About You
- You want to work in a position that meaningfully impacts your community
- You have 3 or more years of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles
- You have a valid driver's license and a willingness to obtain a CDL (don't worry, we will train you for this)
- You have a mechanic's tool set
- You want to grow, learn, and develop your skillset through ASE testing
