This critical role will be responsible for leading and managing our production team, optimizing production processes, ensuring quality and efficiency, and meeting production deadlines. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee all production operations : Plan, schedule, and monitor all production activities, including production planning, inventory management, and finished goods delivery.
- Lead and manage the production team : Hire, train, and supervise production personnel, including production workers, supervisors, and technicians. Motivate and empower the team to achieve production goals.
- Optimize production processes : Continuously analyze and improve production processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste. Implement lean manufacturing principles and other best practices.
- Ensure product quality : Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the production process. Investigate and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Meet production deadlines : Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to customers. Monitor progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
- Manage inventory : Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Implement inventory control systems to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment : Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized production facility.
- Collaborate with other departments : Work closely with customer service, supply chain, engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.
- Develop and implement production budgets : Prepare and monitor production budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness.
