What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology (IT) Specialist position at First Western?
First Western Bank is seeking an IT Specialist in Rogers. The individual will be responsible for providing a wide range of IT support and services. This position requires a proactive approach to problem solving and a strong understanding of various IT functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to and will be assigned based on experience :
- Providing technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Assisting in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting network performance and connectivity issues.
- Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various platforms.
- Supporting cybersecurity measures to protect company data.
- Collaborating with vendors for hardware and software support.
- Staying up to date with emerging technologies and recommending improvements to existing systems.
Qualified candidates should have two to three years of IT Support experience or a similar role, have experience with hardware troubleshooting / repair, be familiar with networking concepts and protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP), and have an understanding of cybersecurity best practices. A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field and experience in banking / financial technologies are a plus.
