ANALYST (OPERATIONS)


Job Summary:

The Analyst provides support managing a broad variety of operations and administrative departmental activities. This includes the operational excellence process and initiatives, conducting data integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency analysis and reporting. Responsible for the automation process activities. This includes the development, integration and preparation of Executive and Senior Management presentations and reports.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Ensure procedural manuals are maintained and properly updated.

  • Support in the development, documentation and presentation of operational excellence initiatives.

  • Support in the planning initiatives, as well as, development, preparation analysis and presentation of the Monthly Senior Leadership reporting (Key Performance Indicators, Service Level Agreements and Scorecards).

  • Assist in the monitoring, documentation, and tracking of audit comments corrections and commitments.

  • Prepare regular compliance reports that serve to hold the loan operations division accountable for meeting defined targets.

  • Support with data analysis and problem solving.

    Other Responsibilities:

  • Support to other operations areas as needed.

  • Monitor departmental metrics to identify process improvement in order to achieve measurable and sustainable results for continuous reduction.

  • Assist in monitoring of workload within the unit and capacity planning analysis.

  • Support in the root cause analysis of departmental issues and opportunities of improvement; and train on these topics until resolution.

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

Employees in this job work in an office environment with a comfortable room temperature, good lighting, and quiet conditions. These employees are exposed to external elements when representing the corporation at external events and may be required to work extended hours, including holidays, should these coincide with company events.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred) or Business Administration is required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar job is required or equivalent combination of education and experience enough to successfully perform the essential functions of the job is required.

  • Ability to work independently, as well as, part of a team to achieve department goals.

  • Ability to work with all levels of management and staff.

  • Ability to work in a high volume and time sensitive environment.
