Steve White Motors is seeking an experienced Used Car Buyer who must be able to find vehicles with high value and make independent judgments regarding important business decisions involving the purchase of vehicle inventory.

Steve White Motors has been in business since 1982 and is a family and locally owned franchise dealer. We are 1 hour from Charlotte, 1 hour from the mountains, and a few hours from the beach, hiking, fishing, white-water rafting, and loads of outdoor activities. Hours:

9:00am – 7:00pm Monday – Thursday

9:00am – 5:00pm on Fridays

Responsibilities – Used Car Buyer:

• Develop a used car inventory of 100 units
• Help with processing and recon while focusing on a 3 - 5 day turn
• Work Smart auction, Facebook marketplace and other local auctions to find good inventory
• Turning inventory at 45 days
• Other duties may be assigned
  
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements – Used Car Buyer:

• Experience required - Inventory Management experience would be helpful
• Motivated individual with a passion and drive for unlimited earning potential
• Understand the retail automotive market, auction sales and trends, pricing, high volume and high gross model, and reconditioning costs.
• Make detailed financial decisions within strict time frames and retain crucial information regarding the retail and wholesale vehicle market.
• Photography skills and ability to upload digital files to website
• Good computer and communication skills
• Professional appearance and positive personality
• Good driving record with valid driver’s license
