Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or 5 years' experience in lieu of education.
Experience: 3 years of Salesforce administration experience.
Critical Action Items:
1. Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user management, profiles, roles, permissions, and customization of objects, fields, workflows, processes, validation rules, flows, and other configurations.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design, configure, and implement Salesforce solutions to support business processes and objectives.
3. Customize Salesforce reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for decision-making and performance monitoring.
4. Manage data quality and integrity through data cleansing, deduplication, data loads, and ongoing data maintenance processes.
5. Support end-users by providing training, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring adoption of Salesforce best practices.
6. Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and assess their potential impact on the organization's Salesforce instance.
7. Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications, ensuring data consistency and process efficiency.
8. Assist in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of Salesforce AppExchange apps and third-party integrations.
9. Develop and maintain documentation, including system requirements, process flows, configuration changes, and training materials.
10. Participate in project planning, execution, and post-implementation activities, ensuring successful delivery of Salesforce initiatives.
Requirements:
1. Preferred experience with Salesforce NPSP and/or Nonprofit Cloud.
2. Experience with Salesforce Communities or other customer/partner-facing portals.
3. Proven experience in Salesforce support.
4. In-depth knowledge of Salesforce functionality, configuration, and troubleshooting.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and find effective solutions.
6. Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with users.
7. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Salesforce certifications – Salesforce Certified Administrator required; Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, and/or Nonprofit Cloud Consultant are preferred.
