Job Summary
As the Accounts Payable Clerk II for FirstDigital you will report to the Controller. Within the accounting organization you will be part of an exciting team of professionals performing all aspects of accounting and finance. Responsibilities
- Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any issues
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies or payment issues
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of bills, including vendor invoices, credit card transactions, and employee reimbursements
- Accounts payable research and analysis
- Third-party circuit cost management
- Assist with other accounting tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in accounting, finance, or related field not required, but preferred.
- Telecom industry experience is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years in a similar role preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, typing, and computer skills. Strong excel knowledge is a plus.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills sufficient to negotiate resolutions and enlist support, cooperation, and assistance from others.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision.
- Ability to operate with a high degree of accuracy, urgency, and flexibility.
- Professional aptitude with customers in all forms of communication.
- Ability to cope with interruptions, change and unrelated details while maintaining appropriate priority of projects and tasks.
Pay and Benefits
- Base annual salary $55,000-70,000, based on experience.
