What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regulatory Compliance Specialist II position at Firstlight Federal Credit Union?
Responsible for supporting all the components of the Credit Unions Compliance Program to ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations. Working collaboratively with the Compliance Officer and department managers to review policies and procedures by means of Compliance Reviews. Also responsible for assisting with the miscellaneous duties of the Compliance Department as required. Researches, documents, and gathers information for various reporting functions. Conducts Compliance reviews based on Compliance Risk Assessment. Prepares, types, and assembles various records and documents. Maintains files in accordance with regulatory requirements.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
BS or BA in relevant field or equivalent experience.
Must obtain Regulatory Compliance Certification within two (2) years of appointment.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Three (3) years in compliance.
