Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to implement care plans effectively.
Qualifications
- Experience in geriatrics, medical-surgical, or hospital settings preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
- Ability to work independently while following established protocols and guidelines.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Certification or training in home health care or related fields is desirable but not mandatory.
