Waconia Area IN HOME Female Caregiver needed ASAP- M/W/F 4 hour shifts

In Home Care Caregiver needed ASAP in Waconia AREA - 12 Hours Per Week Commitment PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!!

Caregiver needed for client located in Waconia area on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1pm-5:30pm ASAP.

***This position involves driving to clients' homes/apartments. There is no “home-base”, this is a community-based role. A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and valid car insurance is required. ****

LOCATIONS: You will be driving to a client's place of residence within the Twin Cities Southwest Metro area to provide personal and companion care. Waconia, Prior Lake, Chaska and Eden Prairie are the locations where the initial shifts are, other South/West Metro locations in the future.

MUST DO 14 HOURS OF ONLINE TRAINING/TB TEST/Fingerprints (if needed) and ORIENTATION ALL within 7 days to get started immediately!

We are looking for a professional caregiver who:

• Has a "caregiver's heart"
• Previous caregiving experience
• Dementia / Alzheimer's experience
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care.

• Communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing, including possessing good English-speaking skills, fluency and understandability

A Day in The Life of a FirstLight Caregiver (varies from client to client based on their needs):

• Providing one-on-one care in a client's home or place of residence
• Providing companionship and conversation
• Preparing and serving meals and snacks
• Help with mobility
• Personal cares of bathing and grooming with Male and Female clients
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence care with Male and Female clients
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Shopping, errands and transportation
• Grocery shopping
• Sorting/organizing mail and assisting with bill paying.

Requirements for Professional Caregiver:

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Experience with memory care (dementia and/or Alzheimer's)
• Valid driver's license
• Valid Auto Insurance
• CNA Certification Preferred but not required.
• 1 year of caregiver experience.
• A RELIABLE Mobile Phone with active service
• Must be willing and able to complete training within 5 days. Shift preference given to the first who complete and are ready to work. Shifts available immediately.
