SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales & Business Development Manager to join our home care agency. This role is pivotal in building strong relationships with key referral sources, including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Retirement Homes, Hospice Care, Respite Care, Home Health, Hospitals and Other businesses in this space (Health Care Industry). The ideal candidate will excel in face-to-face interactions, demonstrate a passion for senior care, and possess a proven track record in generating referrals and converting leads into clients. The candidate will work with the Director of Marketing to monitor goals as they pertain to billable hours, number of clients and revenue and will report weekly on results and networking activities, revising strategy/plan as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.
- Identify and develop relationships with various referral sources
- Conduct at least 35 visits per week, both medical and nonmedical, including new and follow-up
- Establish a networking plan to actively use as a working tool, revisiting as requested/needed
- Conduct in-person visits to Skilled Nursing Facilities, Retirement Homes, Hospice Care, Respite Care, and Home Health companies to promote the agency’s services.
- Visit existing referral sources to maintain and grow partner relationships
- Update prospects, clients and referral sources databases for contact and/or mailing lists
- Monitor market trends, identify new business opportunities, and act on them
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve referral and client acquisition targets
- Track networking efforts and review them with supervisor on a weekly basis
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth onboarding of referred clients
- Attend relevant community events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand the agency’s presence
- Perform initial evaluation of services for potential clients, as needed
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client interactions in CRM systems
- Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; and two (2) to three (3) years’ marketing, networking and/or securing referrals experience in the medical or non-medical field highly desirable; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in electronic documentation of networking activity required
Previous use of CRM systems
