* FirstLight Home Care of Richmond is seeking Compassionate Professional Caregivers for clients in the 23236 area; specifically for:
- a client who lives in a private residence with family, is immobile & needs afternoon care 2-3 times a week for approximately 4 hours each day (about 3p to 7p) and needs assistance with bathing/dressing/incontinence care/food prep & feeding; CNA preferred & they have one small dog

Caregiver responsibilities include:
- Providing companionship and conversation
- Preparing and serving meals
- Help with bathing and grooming
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Shopping, errands, and transportation
- Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have:
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification (required) and/or Personal Care Aide (PCA)
- Previous caregiving experience (preferred)
- A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
- A commitment to being present and providing quality care
- Empathy, patience, kindness and respect
- Ability to carry out direction, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage the demands of the job
Location:
- This position will serve clients in the 23236; Midlothian/Chesterfield/Richmond area
- FYI - We also have open positions to serve clients in Henrico/West-end, Ashland/Glen Allen, and Richmond City

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
