Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities for clients.
- Monitor and document patient health status and report any changes to the appropriate personnel.
- Administer first aid and CPR as necessary while ensuring client safety.
- Assist clients with mobility and physical exercises as directed.
- Support clients emotionally and socially through companionship and engaging activities.
- Help clients manage medications and adhere to prescribed health plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients in their homes.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient monitoring techniques and vital sign assessment.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required.
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills to connect with clients.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities is beneficial.
- Knowledge of resident rights and ethical caregiving practices is important.
- Flexibility to adapt to various client needs and schedules is essential.
