Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Monitor and document patient observations, reporting any changes in condition to the appropriate staff.
- Uphold resident rights by advocating for their needs and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the living environment to promote health and safety.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities that foster social interaction and personal growth.
- Provide support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, tailoring approaches to meet their unique needs.
Experience
- Previous experience in elder care, assisted living, or group home settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and care plans is essential.
- Familiarity with resident rights and the importance of maintaining a clean environment for health safety.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus.
