Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Monitor clients' health by checking vital signs and reporting any changes.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist clients with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed treatments.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold client confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior care or home health care is preferred.
- Knowledge of care plans and memory care techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals tailored to client needs is a plus.
- CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and families.
