As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing compassionate and personalized in-home support. This position is essential to our mission of delivering high-quality care that allows individuals to thrive in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor clients' health by taking vital signs and observing changes in condition.
- Support clients with mobility and physical activities as needed.
- Ensure clients' safety and well-being while respecting their rights and dignity.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care plans.
- Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client status.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a caregiver or in a similar role within home care services.
- Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- Familiarity with taking vital signs and monitoring health conditions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.
- Ability to assist clients with disabilities and provide support for their specific needs.
- Experience in meal preparation is a plus but not required.
