Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients in daily activities to promote independence and well-being.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed to ensure client health.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers safely and respectfully.
- Engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks as required.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
Qualifications
- Experience in senior care or direct support roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is highly desirable.
- Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to client dignity and independence.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and families.
- Basic understanding of vital signs monitoring is a plus.
