Summary
As a Personal Care Assistant at FirstLight Home Care, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing essential in-home support. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation and personal hygiene.
- Medication reminders
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Support clients with mobility and physical tasks, including lifting when necessary.
- Implement memory care techniques for clients experiencing cognitive challenges.
- Assist individuals with autism or disabilities in daily routines and activities.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes to supervisors.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Experience in meal preparation and understanding dietary needs.
- Knowledge of memory care practices is preferred.
- Experience in senior care or assisted living environments is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills to interact compassionately with clients and families.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may require lifting.
