Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Caregiver to join our team at FirstLight Home Care. This role is vital in providing compassionate support to seniors and individuals recovering from various conditions, ensuring they can maintain their dignity and independence in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers as needed, including lifting when necessary.
- Medication reminders.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely as required.
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience or training in dementia care or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
