Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Monitor client health by checking vital signs and reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Help clients engage in social activities and maintain community connections.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs as required.
- Document client progress and any concerns accurately for ongoing assessment.
- Collaborate with family caregivers to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
Qualifications
- Experience in home care or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of first aid practices and patient monitoring techniques.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and those requiring memory or dementia care.
