Summary
We are seeking an Assistant to join our team at FirstLight Home Care. In this role, you will provide vital support to clients, ensuring they receive the compassionate care they deserve in their homes. Your contributions will be essential in helping individuals maintain their independence and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Support clients with mobility and physical activities, including lifting when necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all client interactions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or home care preferred.
- Knowledge of memory care techniques is a plus.
- CPR certification is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential.
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to client care, including lifting as needed.
