What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Accounts Receivable Analyst position at firstPRO 360?
firstPRO 360 is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst for an immediate opportunity in Atlanta, GA. General duties include, but are not limited to: Lead collections effort for all business accounts, post payments, maintain customer records, actively manage the AR aging report, as well as other administrative duties. Experience utilizing systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Great Plains is required.
Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial/business collections on outstanding debt owed to the company
- Manage the aging report, working to reduce days outstanding on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Receive and post payments to customers' accounts via ACH, wire, etc.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure all information is correct for accurate reporting
- Perform in depth research in the AR department, including analysis of accounts
- Perform routine record maintenance, checking for discrepancies and correcting as necessary
- Perform special tasks and complete projects as needed for the department
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or better in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 5 years' experience in Accounts Receivable/Credit and B2B Collections
- Experience utilizing systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Great Plains
- Strong analytical skills, including in depth research in the department
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to build rapport with clients and customer
