The Finance Manager - Receivables is responsible for managing collections process, monthly analyses, and participating in ad-hoc projects as required. Sitting within the Collections function of our Finance team, the Finance Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders to lead process improvement strategy and manage the collections lifecycle, including the analysis of collections and accounts receivable data.
- Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Manage Collections and Accounts Receivables – Manage entire collections process, including four direct reports. Work with internal case teams (Managing Principals, Principals, Vice Presidents) as well as high level outside clients.
- Monthly Analyses – Prepare monthly and on-demand analyses for all accounts receivable and associated reserves. Independently respond to all requests for analysis of case, collections or accounts receivable information and statistics.
- Identify Trends and Improve Procedures – Utilize data, analytics, and stakeholder feedback to proactively identify trends and/or opportunities for process improvement.
- Special Projects – Manage own time and outside resources through completion of special projects assigned by Finance leadership. Participate in cross-functional projects and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Customer Service and Building Trust – Responsive to internal and external requests. Provides high quality support and an internal business partner.
- Training and Team Development – Effectively and proactively coach and mentor all team members. Responsible for developing team and providing back up support on critical procedures.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Concentration in finance or business preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years substantive relevant experience required.
- Prior experience in a professional services company environment preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience supervising/managing teams.
- Strong PC capability (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) required.
- Proficiency in Excel required.
- Experience with automated data and technology preferred.
- Demonstrates technical competence and analytical strengths to solve problems.
- Excellent and clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently. Demonstrates initiative, ownership, and influence.
- Resolves problems quickly and effectively.

Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
